Ukulele & Me. - a little poem

Ukulele

I place my Ukulele right below my chest,
and strum away from time to time to perfect my songs to best.
My Ukulele makes me happy, with it's high-pitched sound.
It makes everything more smiley, more different and more loud.
Even though I don't strum my Ukulele every single day, it sits patiently beside my bed, and waits for me to play.

Love of Music.

I've always loved music and have been intrigued by different bands and genres for a while.
I've listened to pop, indie, rock and much more...But my music taste is always changing.

My Drawing of Hayley Williams (Paramore) & Vic Fuentes (Pierce the Veil)
My friends like to listen to pop music such as The Vamps and Katy Perry. I'm not too fussed on these, however their songs are extremely catchy!
But it's clear that we do agree on the fact that Panic! At the Disco and Fall Out Boy are awesome though, so I guess I can deal with their music tastes for a while longer ;)

I currently listen to indie/alternative music such as The Wombats, Arctic Monkeys and The 1975, because they sound a little bit different and I like that. But I will always love Paramore!

What are your favourite bands?

Bright Lights - a little poem

The arena was full to the brim.
Not just with people, but with bright lights and loud, infinite noise.

The spotlights chased after the bands, projecting their silhouettes around the arena.
Screaming and singing merged into one intense harmony, bursting the ear drums of all.

A quick, but heartfelt "We love you Wembley!" was said and then they filtered backstage once again.

Books & Baths - a shopping haul

Everybody loves a good spend, now and again! And that's exactly what I did last weekend, when I went shopping with family.
This post is going to explain what I bought.

..Items featured..
  • October's TeenVogue
  • Lush Bath Ballistics (Luxury Lush Pud & So White)
  • 'I Am Malala' by Malala Yousafzai
  • Body Shop 'Born Lippy' Lip balms (Passion Berry, Satsuma Shimmer & Strawberry)

I have been meaning to pop into Lush for a while, to look at their Christmas products.
Then, I watched Zoella's Lush Haul and I was persuaded to go to a Lush store ASAP and buy 'Luxury Lush Pud' & 'So White'.
The smell of these Bath Ballistics are heavenly, and I can tell I'm going to fall in love with them as soon as I use them!

I had been given a £5 Body Shop giftcard and I decided to spend it on some lip balms. I originally picked up 'Passion Berry' & 'Satsuma Shimmer', but I then picked up 'Strawberry' in a 3 for 2 offer. I can already tell that these lipbalms are really good quality!

I will be writing reviews on everything I've bought soon, so keep an eye out for them!

Autumn Leaves - a little poem

The leaves were coloured yellow, orange and golden brown.
They crunched underneath my feet.
The bitter winds stung my bare hands, as I strolled sluggishly towards the bus stop.
No cares and no worries on my mind.

Lately // Dolly Shoes & Fashion Magazines

Hello again! Sorry for the lack of posts, but I've been very busy.
Anyways, in this post I'm going to be telling you what I've been loving lately...

  • Condé Nast Fashion Magazines - Recently I've just become obsessed with fashion magazines. For two years, I have been collecting every issue of Teen Vogue, but until August I had never bought an issue of Vogue.
  • Dr Martens Polley Shoes - These are actually my school shoes, but I ADORE them. They look really pretty with coloured frilly socks :)
  • Playing my Ukulele - Lately I've been playing more Ukulele more often. I'm trying to learn some of the songs off the Juno Soundtrack.

What have you been loving recently?

See ya next week,
Fran ^o^
