A little less motivation, a little more action please.

I should really be doing my art homework now. But do you know what I'm doing? Oh yes, I'm writing a blog post of how to overcome procrastination. How ironic.

I was given an art project homework to do a week ago and I now have five weeks to complete it. I've had the whole of half term to get it out of the way. But have I? Nope, because that would obviously be way too easy for me to do.

Lately I've come into the cycle of getting up late in the morning and just continuously scrolling through social media for the rest of the day. This is because I have a (bad) habit of ignoring work until it's due in really soon.
This habit, ladies and gentleman, is called procrastination.
And I know what you are all thinking, "She's been watching too many Danisnotonfire videos" and yes, yes I have.

I mean the truth is that no matter how many 'motivational' pinterest boards you start following, they will not physically get you up off your butt and start working. Unfortunately, I am learning this the hard way.
So if you're trying to put something off right now, go do it. You'll feel much better, I promise you!

Now I've had a cherry pepsi and a rant at myself, I'm ready to go do some artwork.
If you see me trolling on someone's blog instead of doing work, please tell me to go do some work instead.
I will appreciate it.

See you on the flipside crazy cats,
Fran ☺

February Playlist.

So far, February has been a bit weird for me.
I've been a bit down in the dumps and un-motivated to do anything.
But I've put together a playlist for February, so if you're feeling a bit sluggish, pop your headphones in and give it a listen.

Listen on Spotify - February - Blog Playlist

Have a good week,
Fran ♥

The Liebster Award (!!!)

Hey Guys ☺
I'm sorry I haven't been posting often, but now I have half term I'm going to attempt to post more frequently. Also I have an art project to start on 1920's America, so I'll make sure to keep you all updated on it!

I was nominated for the 'Liebster Award' by Suzie from JUMBLED DREAMS , so thank you Suzie!
I have never taken part in this tag before, so let's see how it goes.
I'll put my 11 blog nominations at the end of the post.

The Rules of the Liebster Award:
  • Thank the person who nominated you and link their blog
  • Answer the questions given by the nominator
  • Nominate 11 other bloggers who have less than 200 followers and link them
  • Notify all the bloggers you nominate
  • Create 11 new questions for your nominees to answer

-how has your day been?
I've just woken up, but my day yesterday was great! I came home from guide camp & it was really fun.

-if you were a superhero what power would you have? ('the power to have any power' is strictly PROHIBITED)
Ahh, this one is really tricky. I guess I'm not sure, but I know it would have something to do with unicorns.

-what was the last song you listened to?
Yellow Flicker Beat by Lorde.

-which actress/actor would you choose to play you in a biopic of your life?
Audrey Hepburn.
However, I am nothing like her and the biopic would be completely in-accurate!

-where would you go on a road trip?
I'd love to go to Italy!

-favourite film based on colour scheme?
I'd have to say God Help the Girl, because the colours used are so vintage-y and gorgeous.

(Via)
-what would be your ultimate breakfast?
Bacon, Sausage, Eggy bread and Nutella on toast!

-which fictional bunch of friends would you like to be a part of?
The Ace Gang from Angus, Thongs and Snogging for sure! I adore the books and the film, I've read/seen them hundreds of times over. It would also give me the excuse to put the word 'Fabulosity' in my vocabulary (but who needs an excuse)
(Via)
-if you could stop one world issue what would it be?
I want something to change in the World regarding Homelessness.

-which celebrities do you share your birthday with?
Hailey Baldwin (Model) and Scarlett Johansson (Actress).
I had to google this, I had no idea!

-where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Doing something surrounding English and Art.

My Questions:

  • What's your favourite film? Why?
  • Why did you start blogging?
  • Who is your favourite singer/songwriter?
  • If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be?
  • Favourite hair/beauty product?
  • Who's your favourite youtuber?
  • 5 words to describe yourself?
  • Favourite author and why?
  • Advice for a new blogger?
  • What's your most embarrassing moment?
  • What's your favourite book?

Lush Haul 2015 - Part One

Hey Guys,

Can you guess what this post is about? I know it's REALLY HARD.
This post is part one of my Lush Haul, from Christmas and my Birthday. I'm slowly using the products I got one-by-one and I thought I should share what I think of them with you! I do apologise for the picture heavy post, but something tells me that you'll like this post! *points finger* Yes, you!
So, here we gooooooooo

"Granny Takes A Dip" - Bath Bomb
This is one of my personal favourites! I like to smash it up and use it for different baths, because it's so big. I find the smell really relaxing and I like to use it for night-time baths, but you could probably use it in the day-time too.

"Twilight" - Bath Bomb
This scent makes me feel really sleepy and relaxed. It features a star design on the top of the bath bomb and it fizzles into a  dark purple colour.

"Brightside" - Bubble Bar
This bubble bar is so nicely scented, it makes me feel really fresh! It turns the bathwater a bright orange colour.
The Lush website claims that it will boost your bad mood instantly.

"Think Pink" - Bath Bomb
This bath bomb is quite small, so I used it all in one bath. It turned the bath water a pastel pink colour and it had cute little confetti hearts in the middle of it. I really enjoyed this bath bomb, but I just wished that it could have been bigger!
What's your favourite product from Lush? Let me know in the comments!
Have a great week,
Fran ☺
